Barack promised it, Obama did it : the USA are not any more a prohibited territory to patients affected by AIDS. Last Friday US president announced the end of a 22-years ban on travel to the United States by people who had tested positive for HIV and which assigned as much tourists as well as foreigners applicants to American nationality. Here is a decision which opens news prospects for the country because this one puts an end to an inconsistency in United States health policy. To know, play a leading role in AIDS prevention in Africa and other countries with severe epidemics, but preserving national restrictions that in practice prevented international AIDS researchers and activists from gathering at conferences here. Barack l’a promis, Obama l’a fait : les USA ne sont plus territoire interdit aux malades du Sida. C’est vendredi que le président américain a annoncé la fin de cette interdiction d’entrée du territoire vieille de 22 ans qui affectait autant les touristes porteurs du virus que les étrangers également porteur du VIH prétendants à la nationalité américaine. Voilà qui ouvre des perspectives nouvelles pour les USA car cette décision met fin à un illogisme en matière de politique de santé. A savoir être le leader sur le plan préventif en Afrique et autres pays gravement touchés par cette épidémie, mais dans le même temps maintenir sur son sol des restrictions empêchant la venue de nombreux chercheurs et activistes internationaux à diverses conférences. Le dialogue s’ouvre donc en même temps que les frontières et Obama, symbole culte en matière de lutte contre les discriminations, aura ainsi mis fin à celle touchant les porteurs du VIH sur le territoire US. +1 mister president !...

Barack lo prometió, Obama lo hizo : los EE.UU. ya no son territorio prohibido a los enfermos del SIDA. Es viernes que el Presidente Americano anunció el final de esta prohibición de entrada del territorio vieja de 22 años que afectaba tanto a los turistas portadores del virus que a los extranjeros igualemente positivos al VIH aspirantes a la nacionalidad estadounidense. Se abre entonces nuevas perspectivas para los Estados Unidos ya que esta decisión pone fin a una falta de lógica en cuanto a política de salud. A saber ser el líder a nivel preventivo en África y otros países seriamente afectados po resta epidemia, pero al mismo tiempo mantener sobre su territorio restricciones que impiden la llegada de numerosos investigadores y activistas internacionales del VIH a distintas conferencias. El diálogo se abre pues al mismo tiempo que las frotneras y Obama, símbolo culto en cuanto a la lucha en cotnra las discriminaciones, habrá puesto fin a la discriminación en contra los portadores de VIH. ¡+1 mister presidente!...
