Harry a trouvé refuge à Rhodes où il garde la résidence secondaire d'un de ses amis, le politicien Alan Dysart. C'est là qu'Heather Mallender a choisi de séjourner après la mort de sa sœur, tuée dans un attentat de l'IRA qui visait Dysart. Mais alors qu'Harry accompagne Heather dans une excursion touristique, cette dernière se volatilise. Harry est le principal suspect mais, faute de preuves, est laissé en liberté. C'est alors qu'il découvre 24 photos dans les affaires d'Heather, photos prouvant que cette dernière menait une enquête sur la disparition de sa sœur. Harry décide de refaire le même parcours pour tenter de comprendre ce qui est arrivé à la jeune femme... Après avoir découvert Robert Goddard dans Le secret d'Edwin Strafford , j'avais hâte de lire un nouveau roman de cet auteur afin de confirmer tout le bien que j'en avais pensé. Essai confirmé pour cet auteur anglais qui nous entraîne ici dans un thriller psychologique plein de finesse. Dernier point, triturez-vous les méninges tant que vous voulez, le final est grandiose et inattendu!!...

Harry decide repetir el mismo curso para tratar de entender lo que le pasó a la joven... Después de descubrir a Robert Goddard en Le secret d'Edwin Strafford , estaba ansiosa por leer una nueva novela del autor para conrfimar odo el bien que había pensado. Prueba confirmada para este autor Inglés que nos lleva aquí en un thriller psicológico lleno de sutilidad. Por último, ¡¡tritura su cerebro como desee, el final es tanto espectacular como inesperado!!...
