La Orquesta del Titanic - Joaquín Sabina & Joan Manuel Serrat

¿Os imaginan dos genios uniandose por un tema? Pués a cinco años de su encuentro como Dos Pajáros de un Tiro, lo hicieron de nuevo Sabina y Serrat y no solamente por una canción sino por un álbum entero con canciones ineditas. Así La Orquesta del Titanic nació de unos cuatro versos que Sabina tenía desde tiempo en la cabeza  y de cuales nunca pudo hacer canción (que era La Orquesta del Titanic). Cuando le contó a Serrat sobre la metáfora de la industria en crisis, de ellos saliendo de gira a divertirse mientras el mundo se hunde, de inmediato Serrat hizo una melodía y metío unos versos fantásticos. Ahí inició todo y esos dos genios han entremezclados los roles de letrista y músico. No vale la pena decir cuanto el álbum es buenissimo, solo hay que recordar que desde su salida se ha colocado como número 1 de la lista de los álbumes vendidos, que sea en España o América Latina. Imaginez deux génies s’unissant pour une chanson. Et bien cinq ans après leur rencontre comme Dos Pajáros de un Tira, Sabina et Serrat ont renouvelé l’expérience et pas seulement pour un titre mais pour un album entier de chansons inédites. La Orquesta del Titanic est né de quatre vers que Sabina avait dans la tête sans avoir jamais pu en faire une chanson (qui est devenue La Orquesta del Titanic). Après les avoir confié à Serrat, métaphore sur l’industrie en crise et eux, artistes, s’amusant lors de tournées alors que le monde se noie, ce dernier, inspiré, a composé une mélodie pour ces vers. Ainsi a démarré cette aventure qui a mené ces génies à inter changer les rôles de compositeur et parolier. Sachant cela il n’est guère nécessaire de dire combien l’album est sublime, je rajouterais juste que dès sa sortie il est passé numéro 1 en Espagne et dans toute l’Amérique Latine. Voici une chanson pour vous en faire une idée, ainsi que les maîtres en interview chez El Hormiguero, en espérant qu’ils nous illumineront longtemps de leurs musiques…

Can you imagine two geniuses making a song together? Well five years after their meeting as Dos Pajáros de una Tira, Sabina and Serrat renewed the experiment and not for just one song but a full album of new songs. La Orquesta del Titanic was born from four verses that Sabina had in the head since a long time without ever have been able to make a song with them (which became La Orquesta del Titanic). After saying it to Serrat, and talk to him about the metaphor of the industry in crisis and them, as artists, having fun live whereas the world drowns, this last, inspired by all this, composed a melody for these verses. Thus this adventure started and carried out these geniuses to inter changing the roles for the melodies and the lyrics. Knowing all this, it is not really necessary to say how much the album is so great, I just can add that since its exit it is number 1 in Spain and Latin America.
