Vengo – Ana Tijoux

Ana Tijoux es quiza una de las raperas de mayor éxito de Suramérica y ya viene su cuarto trabajo solo, Vengo. La artista chilena, que nació y creció en Francia durante el exilio de sus padres durante la dictadura militar del general Augusto Pinochet, define su nuevo álbum como «un manifiesto donde se dibujan muchas ideas y reflexiones», vinculadas al feminismo, la ecología y la experiencia de ser madre. Vengo es también la ocasión para Ana de introducir elementos instrumentales próximos al sonido indígena y al medio ambiente suramericano. Eso lo viene del rap español y su mezcla con los sonidos del flamenco y le da a su trabajo una identidad única. Como ya los he dicho su nuevo álbum está disponible así que solo os puedo aconsejar disfrutarlo...

Ana Tijoux est très certainement l'une des artistes rap les plus importantes d'Amérique du Sud et son quatrième album, Vengo, est enfin disponible. L'artiste chilienne, qui est née et a grandit en France pendant l'exil de ses parents durant la dictature militaire d'Augusto Pinochet, définit son nouvel album comme «un manifeste où s'élaborent beaucoup d'idées et de réflexions» liées au féminisme, l'écologie et l'expérience de la maternité. Vengo est également l'occasion pour Ana d'introduire des éléments instrumentaux proches des sonorités indigènes et à l'univers sud américain. Cela lui vient du rap espagnol où il est usuel de faire un mix avec le son flamenco, le tout apportant au résultat une identité unique. Son nouvel album est donc disponible et je ne peux que vous inviter à le découvrir...

Ana Tijoux is certainly one of the most important rap artists from South America and his fourth album, Vengo, is yet available. The Chilean artist, who was born and grew up in France during he exile of his parents during the military dictatorship of Augusto inochet, defines its new album as «a manifest which develop many ideas and thoughts» related to feminism, ecology and the experience of motherhood. Vengo is also an opportunity for Ana to introduce instrumental elements of indigenous and South American sounds and universe. This comes from the Spanish rap where it is customary to mix it with flamenco, while providing a unique identity to the work. So its new album is available and I can just invite you to enjoy it...

Legado en los Huesos – Dolores Redondo

Sigue la ya famosa Trilogía del Baztán con el juicio, a punto de comenzar, contra el padrastro de la joven Johana Márquez. Hemos visto como Amaia Salazar ha descubierto en El Guardián Invisible quién se ocultaba detrás del basajaun y estamos, un años después, a punto de cerrar el caso en el momento en que la embarazada inpectora de la Policía Feral se presenta con las pruebas en contra Jasón Medina que había violado, asesinado y mutilado a la hija de su mujer, imitando al basajaun. De pronto, el juez anuncia que el juicio debe cancelarse puesto que el acusado acaba de suicidarse en los baños del juzgado, dejando una nota suicida dirigida a la inspectora, una nota que contiene un escueto e inquietante mensaje : «Tarttalo». Esa sola palabra que remite al personaje fabuloso del imaginario popular vasco destapará una trama terrorífica que envuelve a la inspectora hasta un trepidante final. Lo que nos encanta de Dolores Redondo es ciertamente esa mezcla que hace en sus libros entre intriga, leyendas, creencias y vida diaria. Sigue en esta enseñandos el valle de Baztán en una intriga en cual estudia el medio y también la maternidad y el todo nos da una historia increíble. Se dice de esta segunda parte de la trilogía que todo es más y, creeme, ¡es aún más que eso! Ahora, a esperar ya la tercera parte...

La désormais célèbre Trilogie du Baztán se poursuit avec le jugement contre le beau-père de la jeune Johana Márquez, sur le point de commencer. Nous avons vu dans Le Gardien Invisible, comment Amaia Salazar a découvert qui se cachait derrière le basajaun et nous sommes, une année après, sur le point de fermer ce dossier au moment où l'inspectrice de la communauté forale de Navarre, enceinte, se présente avec les preuves contre Jasón Medina qui a violé, assassiné et mutilé la fille de sa femme, imitant le basajaun. Rapidement, le juge annonce que le jugement est annulé car l'accusé vient de se suicider dans les toilettes du tribunal, laissant un note à l'attention de l'inspectrice, note contenant un succinct et inquiétant message : «Tarttalo». Cet unique mot se réfère au personnage fabuleux de l'imaginaire populaire basque n'est que le début d'une intrigue terrifiante qui va entraîner l'inspectrice jusqu'à un final haletant. Ce qui nous plaît chez Dolores Redondo est très certainement sa manière de mélanger dans ses romans intrigues, légendes, croyances et vie quotidienne. Dans celui-ci elle continue à nous révéler la vallée de Baztán au travers d'une intrigue dans laquelle elle étudie à la fois la peur et la maternité, le tout signant une histoire incroyable. Ce second tome de la trilogie est annoncé comme étant encore plus que le premier et, croyez-moi, c'est encore plus que cela! Attendons maintenant impatiemment la troisième partie...

The now famous Trilogy of Baztán continues with the beginning of the judgment agains the stepfather of the young Johana Márquez. We have seen in The Invisible Guardian, how Amaia Salazar discovered who was the basajaun ans we are, a year later, about to close the file when the inspector of the Foral Community of Navarre, pregnant, is present with evidences against Jasón Medina who raped, murdered and mutilated his wife's daughter, imitating the basajaun. Quickly, the judge announced the cancelling of the judgment because the accused has committed suicide in the water closed of the court, leavng a note to the inspector, note containing a brief and disturbing message : «Tarttalo». This single word refers to the fabulous figure of Basque popular imagintation and is the beginning of a terrifying plot that will lead the inspector to an incredible final. The thing we certainly like about Dolores Redondo is the way she mixes in her novels intrigues, legends, eliefs and daily life. In this one, she continues to reveals us the Valley of Baztá through a plot in which she studies both fear and motherhood, while signing an incredible story. This second volume of the trilogy is advertised as being more than the first and, you can believe me, it's much more than that! Now waiting impatiently for the third part...

Multiviral – Calle 13

Eduardo Galeano, Silvio Rodríguez, Rubén Blades, Totó La Momposina, Susana Baca, Tego Calderón, Café Tacvba, Julian Assange, esas son las personas del mundo artístico tan musical como de las letras que han participado al quinto disco de Calle 13, primer bajo «El Abismo», su propio sello discográfico. Este disco es el resultado de un año de trabajo en cual el grupo se ha liberado de las presiones de su productora. Eso le permite primero lograr que su música sea más accesible al público, el propio Residente llamando a la gente que no tiene plata a piatear su disco. Y, en el mismo tiempo, el dúo puertorriqueño pretende que esa nueva libertad le permite transmitir de mejor manera su mensaje. Así en este trabajo Calle 13 denuncia la manipulación informativa y ensalza los movimientos sociales. Con esos temas universales, el grupo ya está seguro de tener la gente atenta a sus canciones, lo que se puede hacer escuchando el CD o bien en vivo, gracias a la gira de la banda en América Latina y, este verano, en Europa. Ya no te los puedes perder...

Ce disque est le résultat d'une année de travail durant laquelle le groupe s'est libéré des pressions de sa production. Cela lui permet dans un premier temps de rendre sa musique plus accessible au public, Residente lui-même ayant appelé les gens avec peu d'argent à pirater leur album. Et, dans le même temps, le duo de Puerto Rico prétend que cette liberté retrouvée l'aide à mieux diffuser son message. Ainsi dans cet album Calle 13 dénonce la manipulation de l'information et exalte les mouvements sociaux. Avec ces thèmes universels le groupe est quasi certain que le public sera attentif à ses chansons, ce qui peut se faire en écoutant l'album ou alors en allant les voir en concert, que se soit en Amérique Latine ou, pour cet été, en Europe. Vous ne pourrez pas y échapper...
