Santiago
du Chili, comme beaucoup de mégalopoles, compose avec ses quartiers
d'exclus dont plus personne ne veut entendre parler, souvent des
enfants ou ados. Justement, il en meurt beaucoup tout à coup, de
façon inexplicable. C'est le point départ d'investigations risquées
initiées par des citoyens révoltés par l'incompétence de la
police. C'est ainsi que Gabriela, mapuche rebelle et sauvage qui ne
se sépare jamais de sa caméra Gopro engage Esteban, le richissime
avocat des causes perdues. Sur les décombres encore fumants de la
terrible dictature de Pinochet, ils vont remonter la piste des
assassins et construire une histoire d'amour et d'urgence dans un
Chili où la démocratie est revenue aux conditions abominables de
l'ultra libéralisme... Caryl Férey a le don de nous entraîner dans
des enquêtes époustouflantes tout en convoquant hier pour décrire
aujourd'hui. Du coup d'état de Pinochet au problèmes ethniques sans
oublier Victor Jara, l'auteur nous immerge dans un western moderne,
certes moins violent que ces précédents romans, mais où tous les
ingrédients sont là pour nous faire passer un excellent moment...
Al
igual de muchas otras grandes ciudades, Santiago tiene unos barrios
de excluidos, a menudo niños o adolescentes, de los que nadie quiere
saber nada. Desde muy poco muchos mueren de manera inexplicable. Este
es el punto de partida para investigaciones iniciadas por ciudadanos
indignados por la incompetencia de la policía. Así Gabriela,
mapuche rebelde y salvaje que nunca se separa de su cámara Gopro,
engancha a Esteban, rico abogado de las causas perdidas. Sobre las
uinas todaví humeantes de la terrible dictadura de Pinochet, van a
seguir el rastro de los asesinos y construir una historia de amor y
de emergencia en un Chile en cual ha vuelta la democracia a las
condiciones abominables del ultraliberalismo... Caryl Férey sabe
conducirnos en unas investigaciones impresionantes, eso llamando ayer
para describr hoy. Del golpe de estado de Pinochet a los problemas
étnicos sin olvidar a Víctor Jara, el autor nos sumerge en un
western moderno, sin duda mennos violento que sus novelas anteriores,
pero en cual que todos los ingredientes son presentes para hacernos
pasar un buen rato...

the author inmerses us in a modern western, certainly less violent
than his previous novels, but where all the ingredients are there to
make us spend a good moment...
