Lady Luck – Lulu Gainsbourg
Après
un album de reprises de son père, le fils de Serge nous présente
son premier album personnel. C'est d'ailleurs parce que «fils de»
que j'ai eu la curiosité d'écouter cet album et la très agréable
surprise de découvrir un véritable artiste. Lady Luck est un album
très musical, mélodieux avec des harmonies sculptées, le tout
enluminé par des mots savamment pesés. Comment en aurait-il pu être
autrement puisque Lulu Gainsbourg est diplômé de la très
prestigieuse Berklee. Vient ensuite la voix de Lulu, que certains
justement décrient, et qui, à mon sens, se marie parfaitement à sa
musique. Bref, entre sons groovy, funky, pop-rock et ballades, en
solo ou en duo – notez que l'artiste a su parfaitement s'entourer!
- ses thèmes sont chacun à leur manière de vraie surprises, qu'il
s'agisse d'hommages à ses parents ou amis ou de chansons plus
légères. Vous l'aurez compris, si ce n'est déjà fait, courez
découvrir ce qui pourrait bien être le premier opus d'une longue
série...

de un álbum homenaje a su padre, el hijo de Serge presenta su primer
aábum. Es por culpa de ese «hijo de» que tuve la curiosidad de
escuchar este álbum y la muy agradable sorpresa de descubrir a un
verdadero artista. Lady Luck es un álbum muy musical, melodioso, con
armonías talladas, todo iluminado por letras meditadas. Como hubiera
podido ser de otra manera ya que Lulu Gainsbourg se graduó en la
prestigiosa Berklee. Luego viene la voz de Lulu, que algunos
critican, y que, en mi opinión, se integra perfectamente a la
música. En pocas palabras, entre los sonidos groovy, funky, pop-rock
y baladas, solo o dúo – ¡tenga en cuenta que el artista ha sabido
rodearse perfectamente! - sus temas son cada uno unas verdaderas
sorpresas a su manera, que sean ambos homenajes a sus adres o amigos
o bien canciones más ligeras. Ya se lo entiende perfectamente, si ya
no lo ha hecho, hay que correr descubrir a este primer álbum que
podría ser el primer de una larga serie...
